Terms & Conditions

As per our Anti-Bullying Policy, our studio will not tolerate agressive, offensive or rude behaviour toward our staff. Customers who act in a bullying nature toward our staff may have services terminated immediately and will be banned from our studio in future.

As per Occupational Health & Safety, our studio has the legal right to refuse entry to any customer we believe are a risk to the health and safety of others.

Tattooing Services

The following Terms & Conditions refer to all tattoo session bookings for Apprentices and Qualified Artists. 

Candidates who book tattooing must agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age for this service.
  • Candidates must pay a deposit for all paid bookings in order to confirm.
  • Refunds on deposits are ONLY available when a candidate provides 48 hours notice of a booking change or booking cancellation. If under 48 hours notice, the candidate will forfeit the deposit and cannot be refunded.
  • Candidates who fail to turn up to their booked session without 48 hours notice are not eligible for a refund and cannot use their original deposit for a new booking.
  • Rogue Ink is not responsible for reminding candidates of their upcoming appointments. Candidates are expected to keep up with their own calendars.
  • The sessions include design, preparation and breaks that are taken by the candidate. The total fees will be calculated from the appointment time onwards.
  • Candidates who would like their artist to design their piece prior to the booked session may be expected to pay a design fee. This is not always applicable.
  • Candidates who attend any tattoo session should be properly rested, properly fed, have all important medication with them, and should restrain from blood thinning substances such as alcohol for 24 hours prior. Alcohol will increase bleeding at the tattoo site, stop ink from staying in your skin, and make it too difficult for artists to work with. This can result in a cancellation of the appointment, with the candidate still being charged.
  • Every candidate is given the opportunity to agree to their tattoo design and to sight placement of the tattoo stencil on their body. The candidate is agreeing to the placement and providing  consent by proceeding to get tattooed after sighting the stencil placement.
  • Candidates are responsible for any incorrect dates, times or name spelling that they supply their artist for a tattoo. An artist is not held responsible for following an accepted stencil.
  • Candidates must pay for the time they have booked with the artist, even if they decide to leave the session early.

This refers to a piercing or implant on any place above the waistline (excluding tongue and bridge). 

Custom Design

  • This service is separate to other services (including tattooing) and is therefore not part of the fees for other services.
  • A design is created using the instructions, description and images which are provided to the artist. Any changes you might wish to add after this service has been commenced may incur more fees.
  • This service requires full upfront payment upon booking.
  • As per our Refund Policy – refunds are not available to customers who book a design consult and cancel or change the booking within 48 hours notice to the booking schedule.

Piercings & Implant Services

  • Candidates must pay for the piercing(s) upfront to the studio in order to secure and confirm a booking.
  • Refunds are ONLY available when a candidate provides 48 notice of a booking change or booking cancellation. If under 48 notice, the candidate will forfeit the deposit and cannot be refunded.
  • Candidates who fail to turn up to their booked session without 48 hours notice are not eligible for a refund and cannot use their original deposit for a new booking.

  • The sessions include preparation and breaks that are taken by the candidate.
  • Every candidate is given the opportunity to sight placement of the piercing or implant stencil on their body. The candidate is agreeing to the placement and providing consent by proceeding to get pierced after sighting the placement.

Age Requirements

Ear (not including lobe) and Facial piercings: Candidates must be 16 years of age and have parental consent.

Ear Lobe: Candidates must be 16 years of age OR 16 years and under must provide parental consent.

Navel piercings: Candidates must be 16 years of age and have parental consent. Please note that is it recommended that a candidate does NOT get a Navel piercing until they are fully grown adults. Teenagers are still growing and if a teenager has a Navel piercing, the chances of the piercing growing out completely are higher.

Nipple piercings: Candidates must be 18 years of age.

Training Courses

Any course participant who has began their learning journey with Rogue Ink will not be eligible to a refund once their journey has commenced.

Occupational Health and Safety is an important aspect of our studio operations. Course participants are required to attend training wearing closed toed shoes and must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at attendance.

Any participant who is unable to attend a scheduled practical session may schedule a makeup session with their trainer. Makeup sessions are $220. Participants who provide their trainer with 1 weeks notice when re-scheduling their learning will not need to pay the makeup session fee.

Applicants for this course must be mature enough to safely tattoo on practice skins and be able to read, write and speak english.

Auction Items & Bidding

  • The highest bidder must pay for their purchase within 48 hours from the completion of the auction. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the sale.
  • Auction items must be paid via direct bank transfer or cash in person. Other payment options are not available for auction items.
  • Refunds are available to buyers for the amount of the sale – not the amount the item is valued at.
  • Buyers may not exchange an auction item for a voucher or for any other package, service or product offered by Rogue Ink.
