An apprenticeship can be very difficult to obtain in the tattoo industry. Most studios look for strong drawing and art and design skills of the applicant. They like to see a variety of styles, techniques and strengths in a folio format. They also tend to scan a candidate for their social skills to see if they are a good fit for their studio.
In the past, Rogue Ink have trained quite a few apprentices.
And when an apprenticeship becomes available we will usually advertise this on social media.

We don't expect any artist to work for free. If you'd like a design drawn up there are currently 2 options:
(1) use some of your tattoo session time to have your artist draw. This chews into your session and you're paying for that slot.
(2) book a face to face consultation and receive a design within 2 weeks from your consultation. This is $110 and is a separate charge to tattoo services.
